    Application package FLUXANA Ash

    This application package is a 'ready to go' calibration kit for xrf instruments. Fusion technology is ideal for analysing oxidic materials like ashes. It performs with the highest precision possible in xrf sample preparation. Primarily power stations and their control laboratories have to check the ash from the burning process of black and brown coal. Two standard DIN and ASTM methods describe the testing in detail. FLUXANA is able to deliver both methods ready from the bench. It can for example contain all parts to perform a complete ash analysis: - Calibration set ash prepared from CRM and primary oxides as glass beads - Calibration work performed by FLUXANA expert 3 days on site - 3x drift monitors for xrf instrument - 7x control samples for validation - Flux FLUXANA application packages include always the sample preparation method. If you combine our application packages with our sample preparation machines we guarantee the analytical performance of the package like a contract.

  • Coal Combustion Residuals Disposal for Power Plants

    Coal combustion residuals (CCR) are generated during the power generation process and can include fly ash, bottom ash, boilerslag, and flue gas desulfurization (FGD) residuals. CCRs contain trace concentrations of heavy metals and therefore cannot be dumped or stored where rainwater can leach the metals. Liner systems can be used to contain the coal combustion by-products and protect them from leaching into the environment.
