Cogeneration Solutions for the Pulp Drying Process
While producing electricity for the tissue paper manufacturing machine, the cogeneration system also provides hot air and steam for the pulp drying process, which helps with energy conservation. The gas turbine exhaust gases are directed at the Yankee hood for direct drying pulp and paper. The remaining energy is used in a heat recovery steam generator to create steam for the Yankee cylinder.
