Transformer Oil Purification helps to extend the lifetime of transformer oil as it prevents the deterioration of the transformers' insulating fluids. Deterioration is mainly due to contamination, overheating, electrical stress, and oxidation. There are two main mechanisms occurring in the transformer oil during operation which cause deterioration: moisture contamination and oxidation. Both are fought with the help of transformer oil purifying and transformer oil regeneration systems.
