Beijing - Gao Bei Dian Water Reclamation Plant - Case Study

On 1st September 2014, Cambi was awarded the initial Beijing project, Gao Bei Dian, from Beijing Drainage Construction Company, a flagship for large-scale sludge projects with Cambi Thermal Hydrolysis Process (Cambi THP). The project finished in December 2016. The full sludge amount 99,100 tDS/y be treated in Cambi THP with subsequent advanced digestion in the existing 8 digesters (62,400m³) and the final dewatered cake (40%DS) to be used for land application. The biogas production is 67,000 m³ per day, generating green electricity around 56,000 Kwh/d. The plant serves a population of three million residents
