Don’t Miss: One of India’s Most Important Trade Shows for Renewable Energies
India is currently implementing the world's largest renewable energy program under the leadership of the International Solar Alliance (ISA). Therefore, the 11th edition of Renewable Energy India Expo is one of the most important events for national and international industry specialists. It will take place in the India Expo Center in Greater Noida from September 18 - 20, 2018. We from Lufft and Kipp 8: Zonen will be there on booth 10.196 to present our tried-and-tested solar monitoring solutions...
Lufft WS600 all-in-one weather sensor
The Lufft WS600 compact weather sensors represents all Lufft WS family members which are suitable for solar monitoring purposes. They distuingish themselves through the all-in-one concept combining several sensors in one housing, their ventilated radiation protection and open protocol. The WS600 is often used on solar systems and measures ambient temperature, relative humidity, precipitation intensity, precipitation type, precipitation quantity, air pressure, wind direction and wind speed. Other models such as the WS510 or the WS501 have an integrated Kipp & Zonen pyranometer.
DustlQ Soiling Monitoring System
The innovative DustlQ from Kipp & Zonen ensures that you know exactly when and where to clean a solar module. Behind this is an optical measuring method detecting the loss of light transmission caused by dust on PV panels. It's power-saving and doesn't require extra powering. It is also easy to clean, as it is automatically cleaned during normal solar panel maintenance. It is recommended to equip large solar systems with a network of DustlQ devices to completely cover them. The favorable price ensures that the costs are kept within reasonable limits.
RaZON+ all-in-one system
RaZON+ is an all-in-one system that measures direct normal irradiance (DNI) and diffuse horizontal irradiance (DHI) from the sun and sky. This alllows it to provide very reliable values of global horizontal solar irradiance (GHI) and sunshine duration. With the Wi-Fi connection you can easily set-up and configure RaZON+ using any smart device, such as a tablet. It includes two irradiance sensors, a pyrheliometer (PHI) to measure DNI and a shaded pyranometer (PR1) to measure DHI. The pyrheliometer is resistant to soiling effects. Moreover, RaZON+ is based on a maintenance-free gear drive sun tracking mechanism. Additional sensors can be added to the system through an extra Modbus® interface e.g. to measure panel temperatures or weather parameters.
SMP3 & SMP10 Pyranometers
SMP3 and SMP10 are low maintenance, temperature corrected and low-power pyranometers measuring global solar radiation on a horizontal plane. If they are inclined at the same angle as the PV modules, they measure the inclined global radiation used to calculate the efficiency.
With their standard digital and analogue outputs, such as the Modbus interface, as well as the identical sensitivity as other SMP's, they are easy to integrate into meteo systems and to replace during calibration.
The SMP3 is classified as a Second Class Pyranometer and the SMP10 as Secondary Standard, which is the highest possible. The SMP10 is euipped with a drying cartridge that keeps it maintenance-free for many years. An optional ventilation unit can extend the cleaning interval and improve the measurement quality even more.
