Electronic energy meter production cannot be separated from manual welding
Manual soldering, also known as soldering, is an indispensable operation skill in the assembly of electronic products, although modern enterprises have generally used automatic insertion, wave soldering and other automatic soldering production processes, but some sensitive devices, product trial production, electronic product maintenance and some occasions that are not suitable for automatic welding still need manual welding, and there is no welding method that can completely replace manual welding. Electronic energy meter is actually a pure electronic product, now smart meter electronic components up to hundreds, need to SMT patch soldering, wave soldering, manual soldering.
Smart meters are becoming more and more functional, and the performance requirements are getting higher and higher, the volume space is limited, and the space squeeze in the PCB layout will cause some devices can not use wave soldering welding. In addition, there are some sensitive devices in the energy meter such as LCD, plug-in crystal, battery, etc. can not use wave soldering welding, need to use manual welding. In the energy meter manufacturer Yongtailong manual welding position belongs to the special technical positions, need to go through theoretical and practical training assessment licensed to work.
Manual welding operation essentials:
1. Heating the weldment: The electric iron head contacts two objects to be welded (ie pad and device pin) at the same time, and heats the entire weldment for about 1 to 2 seconds.
2. Feed the welding wire: After the welding surface of the weldment is heated to a certain temperature, the solder wire contacts the weldment from the opposite side of Luotie.
3. Remove the welding wire: When the welding wire melts for a certain amount, immediately remove the welding wire to the upper left 45 degrees.
4. Remove the Luotie: After the solder infiltrates the pad and the welding part of the device pin, remove the Luotie in the direction of 45 degrees to the upper right to end the welding. From the beginning of step 2 to the end of step 4, the time is about 1 to 2 seconds
Manual welding process control points:
1、Pulse electricity meter PCB board in manual welding need to use constant temperature anti-static electro-loo iron, welding grounding wire must be reliably grounded; grounding resistance less than 3Ω, insulation resistance greater than 10MΩ.
2、Different DIP components have their own different welding temperature requirements; when welding sensitive devices in the energy meter, a temperature detector needs to be used for temperature control, and the temperature is detected to meet before the welding operation can be carried out.
3、Solder joints should be internally curved, full, smooth, no pinholes, no burrs
4、Solder joint shear foot position 1mm above the solder joint
5、Check the power meter PCB board with tin-free slag, tin beads, using anti-static brush to clean up
After welding the energy meter PCB board operators need to conduct self-inspection, whether there is false welding, leakage of welding, position error, etc., self-inspection qualified before flowing into the next process.
