Robust reliability design of a nuclear system by multiple objective evolutionary optimisation
This paper proposes the use of multiple objective evolutionary algorithms and interval arithmetic for the robust reliability design of complex systems such as those employed in nuclear engineering. A numerical example, relative to the residual heat removal system of a nuclear power plant, is presented to illustrate the benefits of the approach.
