Aeolus Power aims to take the mystery out of installing a wind turbine. We specialise in wind energy, dealing with the installation of wind turbines all day, every day. We can help you through the entire process, explaining what needs to be done and when. We can also act on your behalf in completing the necessary paperwork. If you need information about any part of the process at any stage then please contact us. We are proud of how swiftly we respond to enquiries from our customers. Aeolus Power Group works across England, Scotland and Wales, supplying, installing, commissioning and maintaining wind turbines. If you need support for your turbine at any point during its lifetime, from initial consultation to extended servicing and maintenance, then we can help.
The company works across two main areas. Aeolus Power (Wind) section is focused on the supply, installation and commissioning of turbines. Aeolus Power MOT’S (Maintenance, Operation & Turbine Servicing) ensures that the installed turbines, whether installed by Aeolus Power or others, perform to their maximum capability.
Where it all began
When Christine & Pete Griffiths wanted to site a wind turbine at their farmhouse home there was little information available to help them with the process. They wanted to pass the knowledge they had gained to others interested in benefitting from wind energy. As the business grew, their daughter Victoria left her job in London to work in the family business, she became immersed in ‘all things wind energy’ and is now at the helm.
We have been proud to support a number of important charities.
In 2011 the charity was Macmillan Cancer Care and for a number of years before that the company sponsored an Orphanage in Uganda called the Gangama Babies Home. The money was sent to the church and all was used on the babies. Our final gift to the Orphanage was a “cow” so that they could access fresh milk.
In 2012 we supported three charities: The Alzheimer’s Society, Help for Heroes (both national charities) and Beating Bowel Cancer (Cornwall).
From 2013 onwards our supported charities became Winston’s Wish, the leading childhood bereavement charity in the UK, Farming Community Network, supporting farmers and their families, Motor Neurone Disease Association, the only national charity in the UK for this disabling disease and Legasee, the Veteran Video Archive.
Victoria Griffiths personally provides hand-on support for three charities, Caring at Christmas and Julian House which are both homeless shelters in Bristol, and Aid Box Convoy which provides humanitarian aid for refugees in Calais.
