Bullfrog Power Inc.
Bullfrog Power emerged on the energy scene with a visionary goal: to transform the electricity landscape in Canada. We offered homes and businesses a green choice where previously there wasn’t one: energy. Our proposition was simple. Bullfrogpower your home or business, and we ensure the energy put on the grid on your behalf is from clean, renewable sources. We wanted to set in motion a new movement in Canada — one that would help build healthier energy systems, powered by wind, water and the sun. Bullfrog Power’s vision is to be Canada’s source for smarter, greener energy solutions. Our mission is to inspire and empower people to lead the way to a renewably powered future. Our story has an interesting sub-plot in that we were also one of the very first social enterprises in Canada.

About Us
Adhering to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability, social enterprises exist to try and create a better world. We use business as a catalyst or tool, and depend on the support of our customers to make change happen.
Since 2005, our customers have been putting more green energy on our systems and funding new projects across Canada. We’re supporting clean energy sources from the breezes of B.C.’s mountain ranges to the waters of Atlantic Canada. Together, we’ve put more than three million MWh of green electricity on the grid. We’ve injected more than six million GJ of green natural gas on the pipeline. We’ve put more than 700,000 litres of green fuel onto the Canadian fuel system — and we’ve supported more than 140 community-based green energy projects across Canada. We are proud to have displaced more than one million tonnes of carbon dioxide from the environment.
Although we’ve made significant progress, we still want to do so much more. Please consider joining us and making the switch to renewable energy today. We’d love to welcome you to our community.
