dLaboratory Sweden AB
dProtection is a protection relay adapted to the modern electricity grid. All the protection functions have been developed using real events in the grid. The result is a product with a unique selectivity, able to correctly detect complex faults that traditional protections struggles with. dLaboratorys dAnalysis is a unique incident analyzer that automatically analyzes all incidents in the electricity grid. The hardware, dBox, is installed at junctions in the grid and makes high quality measurements. All incidents, large and small, are uploaded to the Internet. There large amounts of data is automatically analyzed and presented in an easy-to-use web interface.

About Us:
dLaboratory Sweden AB was founded by Magnus Akke, Lars Wollung and Fredrik Akke in october 2010. The company was founded to commercialize PhD Magnus Akkes research regarding the distribution network.
The company’s unique solutions and products are based on a longstanding research project led by Magnus Akke during his time as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of Lund University (LTH).
E.ON was sponsor and partner in the research project. The solutions and products that dLaboratory offers are therefore produced and tested under real conditions in E.ON's power grid.
dLaboratorys core competences are in the following areas:
- Research and innovation within protection and control of power systems.
- Modern software tools.
- Modern industrial hardware.
- Product development.
With a protection relay that safely and properly disconnects faults and a incident analyzer that records, analyzes and reports all events in the grid, the number of outages and affected customers can be reduced.
By the use of modern technology, dLaboratory can replace several conventional protection relays and protect all line feeders in a station with only central computer. When an event occurs an immediate report is delivered by the incident analyzer, which is saved and easily accessible online.
dLaboratorys system provides comprehensive protection functionality and makes it simpler than ever to get an overview of the condition of the electricity grid.
