Enerquip TRCMs
Come to booth 808 at Hydrovision 2023 and hear more about our innovations: Mjølner TRCM (fully electric, able to lift 2,000kgs) and our Gungnir TRCM – the World’s first fully Smart TRCM, using AI – and learn how we use AI to reduce maintenance cost and hours significantly! Enerquips is a Norwegian TRCM manufacturer. We have 135+ TRCMs installed globally – and not two of them are the same. We tailor each machine to each site.
Our TRCMs are named according to Norse mythology. Frøya, Loke, Odin, and Thor – cover all your needs, lifting from 250kgs to 3,000kgs.
We clean opposite of all excavator-based TRCMs:
- clean OUTSIDE of intake first, remove all large floating logs etc.
- clean TOP DOWN, BETWEEN bars, close gripper at bottom and then out and up. This way, cleaning is much, much more efficient!
Some fun facts:
- All our machines are used while producing energy at full power!
- No pressure on racks – except boom weight and water pressure!
- Installation on elevated monorail possible – perfect for site where floods occur or where rails are not possible to install
- Width of grippers “teeth” are fitted to openings between bars
- TRCMs are equipped with an Absolute Encoder – TRCM knows its position on the rails all the time!
- manual, semi-auto, fully automatic modes
…and the best? We are much lower in price than the big excavator-type machines!
Technical specifications:
- Width, gripper: 1 - 3 m
- Depth range: 0-30m+
- Standard lifting capacity: 500 - 3000 kgs+
Only high-end components used
- Hydraulic components Sauer Danfoss
- Cylinders Lind Jensen Maskinfabrikk
- Hose reel Specma Component
- Siemens PLC
- Electrical Components (OEM, Elektroskandia, Solar)

References and Reports
Our Trash Rack Cleaning Machines (TRCM) are available with several different solutions and have exceptional references, globally. Whether it is run-of-river or dam - our TRCM clean the trash racks, while power generation goes on at full capacity. We have 130+ installations today - globally.
There is plenty of power and there are no problems in running the TRCM with the power station in full operation. Another significant thing is that the machine can pick up debrie on the water surface. Our Modus Operandi is: to clean IN FRONT of the trash racks first. Once that is clean and free of debris that might damage the boom or gripper, the machine will clean the tracks rack down in the water.
Finally the waste can be tipped directly into the container so that personnel do not need to do this manually. There are also opportunities to see the machines in operation at some or the sites we have installed our machines at on our homepage www.enerquip.no. From there you can get neutral references from satisfied users.
