Founded in 1990, over the years Far Systems S.r.l. has acquired in-depth knowledge of the design and installation of electronic systems and equipment for both the railway and industrial automation sectors. Part of the Gruppo Industriale Tosoni S.p.A. since May 2006 and perfectly integrated into the Group’s synergies, Far Systems S.r.l. is currently an important standard setter on the market for electronic systems applied to railways, buildings, photovoltaic installations, environmental technologies, platform screen doors and electronic devices for energy saving. Far Systems is an established partner of design studios, architects and building companies for the design and production of media façades, LED walls and integrated lighting solutions. A team of lighting designers, architects and electronics and mechanical engineers supports the customer throughout the entire design and construction process leading to completion of a project.

FAR SYSTEMS was founded in 1990, and has since developed in-depth knowledge of automation systems in both the industrial and rail transport sectors, creating a highly professional team that deals with all stages of product development, from design through to after-sales support. In May 2006, FAR Systems was acquired by Gruppo Industriale Tosoni; the synergies created with other group companies have led to the development of new electronic solutions for building and the environment. These include complete systems for building automation, building integrated photovoltaics (with special focus on integration with curtain walls), traffic control and monitoring and distributed information management systems.
FAR Systems, a Gruppo Industriale Tosoni company, has offices in Rovereto (B.U.Transport, B.U. Construction, B.U. LED Lighting and B.U. Energy Management and Building Automation) and has been ISO 9001 certified since 1997 and ISO 9001:2000 since 2003.

The GRUPPO INDUSTRIALE TOSONI works at international level in large-scale construction and railway sectors.
The Holding, entirely owned by Tosoni Family, leads seven industrial Companies in two Main Divisions: CONSTRUCTION and TRANSPORT.
The CONSTRUCTION DIVISION includes: Cordioli&C. S.p.A. leader in steel structures, Officine Tosoni Lino S.p.A. specialized in curtain walls for buildings, Far Systems Srl specialized in electronic systems for energy, environment and construction, with a plant in Rovereto (TN).
The TRANSPORT DIVISION includes: Saira Europe S.p.A., division sub holding together with Saira Components Srl, producing railway components, Saira Electronics Srl specialized in electronic devices for transportation, Saira Seats SAS, with plant in France, European leader for manufacturing railway seats and, finally, Saira Asia Interiors Pvt Ltd with plant in Baroda, Gujarat, India.
Besides the Industrial Companies, the Holding owns also the following service companies: Far Energy Srl managing Energy Production Plants from alternative sources and R&D Systems Srl (Research - Development Engineering) that promotes, develops and transfers innovative products, processes and systems to the Group Divisions.
The Group operates worldwide, through direct shares controlled by the Operational Companies in Italy, with the following subsidiaries (purpose companies): Luxembau (Benelux), Cordioli D.O.O. (Serbia), Saira East Europe sp z o.o., Tosoni France Sarl, Saudi Tosoni IC L.C.C., Saira Americas Inc. and Saira Canada Inc..
