FARM2000 Boilers
FARM2000 boilers burn wood in the form of logs and cordwood. Depending on boiler model, logs and wood sections can even be up to 2m in length. Wood should be cut at least 18 months before use and stored under cover from autumn.
The boilers can burn clean untreated wood from joineries and whole pallets. FARM2000 boilers are not, however, generally suited for burning loose material such as shredded wood, wood chip, sawdust, unless burned in conjunction with solid larger pieces.
Dry cereal straw in small or big bales, round or rectangular. Burn grey straw not yellow straw. Cereal straw should be weathered for at least a week before baling, and not baled at high density. It burns best if first rained on, then turned and left to dry to max 16%, and stored under cover. Rain washing puts the potash back into the soil. Cereal straw from sandy soil burns better and with less ash than straw from clay soils.
These are excellent fuels with lower cost than cereal straw, and also have lower ash content. Big and small bales.
Excellent fuel, more ‘woody’ than cereal straw and with lower ash content. Big and small bales.
