Renewa offers advanced combustion solutions for local energy production using biofuels in heat and power plants. History
Renewa Oy was established in 2008 through the merger of two Finnish companies, Termopoint Oy and Putkimaa Oy. Both companies were respected boiler manufacturers with international growth potential thanks to their high-quality products. These companies, which were leading in their fields, brought together nearly 30 years and 300 projects into Renewa’s experience in delivering energy production plants, and they form the core of Renewa’s boiler plant design and manufacturing.
In 2009, Renewa acquired the business operations of Boilertec Oy, a major boiler planning, installation and projecting company, as well as the share capital of PaMac Power Oy, a boiler manufacturer. Through these acquisitions, Renewa strengthened its service business, technical design and project know-how related to the construction and renovation of large boiler plants.
An organizational structure, management team and board of directors were established for Renewa Oy. The former owners of the acquired companies were committed to Renewa through organizational and ownership arrangements.
Renewa’s international expansion began in 2009 with a steam boiler delivery to Lithuania, and continued successfully when the company gained ground in France through deliveries of three bubbling fluidized bed (BFB) boilers. Simultaneously, Renewa operated with success also on the domestic market.
Renewa has strong roots in the Finnish bioenergy technology. We develop future solutions of the Finnish bioenergy competence, accumulated over the past decades, and offer our clients increasingly better and more comprehensive service.
