Phoenix Power Group LLC, a privately held company incorporated in Tennessee in 2009, was established to develop alternative energy technologies that are environmentally friendly and that make good business sense. Phoenix has since developed revolutionary CHP technology to convert flammable/combustible gases and liquids (POLs such as used oils, gasoline, diesel fuel, heating oil and transmission/hydraulic fluids; as well as methane, natural gas, alcohols, ethers, etc...) into valuable electrical power and usable heat (Combined Heat and Power). In addition, Phoenix has obtained several patents on its technology and has the worldwide rights for waste to power applications. The company believes that our intellectual property rights, state-of-the-art technology and decades of experience in the waste to power market will place it in a leadership position in this exciting new industry.

PPG’s equity partners include Hansom James Capital, whose principals founded Tennessee-based AIMS Logistics Inc. in 1994, which, when sold to U.S. Bancorp in 2007, employed over 300 people internationally and processed approximately $6 billion annually in freight payables for clients that included Honeywell International, General Electric, and Nortel Networks.

PPG has entered into a license agreement with Cyclone Power Technologies of Pompano Beach, FL for the exclusive world wide rights for their Cyclone Mark V and WHE-25 external combustion engines for waste (used) oil power applications. The patented Cyclone Engines are 21st century, high efficiency fully enclosed steam engines that have been adapted to our electrical generators. The Cyclone Engine design was recognized by Popular Science Magazine as the Invention of the Year in 2008, and was presented with the Society of Automotive Engineers’ AEI Tech Award in 2006 and 2008.

In addition, PPG has formed a strategic partnership with Clean Burn Energy Systems, the industry's largest manufacturer and distributor of used oil heaters, to implement and manage our distribution network and to provide expertise in used oil delivery systems.
