Scientific and Environmental Associates, Incorporated (dba SEA Consulting Group) was founded in 1983 by Ann Hayward Walker as a make-it-happen, technical company to support decision makers in all levels of government and industry. A core belief is that science - reliable facts about the way things work - should inform decisions about physical and social environments. In the absence of peer-reviewed science, the applied knowledge of practical speicalists and scientists can be valid and credible. The use of Associates in our name reflects another core belief that decision making often requires knowledge from a variety of disciplines - the physical and social sciences, technology - along with experience and intelligence.
