Who are Smart Green Solutions?
We are a new company with a background in many industries including most recently solar energy. We have a combined experience of over 50 years in relevant industries such as housing and renewable energy. We have covered roles which include sales, project management, customer services and financial services.
What do we do?
We are passionate about and committed to Green Energy because we believe that it is the real way forward our world today. We live in a planet with so many pressures including environmental, economic and the sheer number of people. Something needs to change and the use of Green Energy is a factor in helping things change for the better.
We are in the business of matching up the people who want Green Energy with the people who supply it. We see our job as bringing the parties to the table and managing the process all the way through to delivery of the final product.
Why choose us?
We have and are developing relationships with many different companies and individuals who work in the Green Energy sectors, including those who provide funding for the whole process.
We are looking to ensure that everyone gets a fair deal and that the end customer gets their product installed and delivered.
In such a new industry with no real regulations, you want to know that you are dealing with ethical, honest and professional people. We only work with people we know for sure will fit this profile. We expect others to live up to our standards.
If You Want
- Honesty, ethical conduct with a fair deal
- To be sure the customer gets what they are promised
- To work with professionals
- We tick all the boxes
Yellow represents the Sun, which is the star at the centre of the Solar System.
Sunlight is Earth's primary source of energy. Solar energy is harnessed by a variety of natural and synthetic processes—photosynthesis by plants captures the energy of sunlight and converts it to chemical form (oxygen and reduced carbon compounds), while direct heating or electrical conversion by solar cells are used by solar power equipment to generate electricity or to do other useful work, sometimes employing concentrating solar power (that it is measured in suns).
Also as the energy stored in petroleum and other fossil fuels was originally converted from sunlight by photosynthesis in the distant past and we are looking to replace this with green energy. It is as if the whole process has gone full circle and we are back at the beginning again.
Green is also associated with regeneration, fertility and rebirth for its connections to nature. Recent political groups in Europe and the West have taken on the colour as a symbol of environmental protection and social justice, and consider themselves part of the Green movement, some naming themselves Green parties. This has led to similar campaigns in advertising, as companies have sold green, or environmentally friendly, products.
The Energy Act 2011 includes provisions for the new “Green Deal”, which intends to reduce carbon emissions cost effectively by revolutionising the energy efficiency of British properties.
The new innovative Green Deal financial mechanism eliminates the need to pay up front for energy efficiency measures and instead provides reassurances that the cost of the measures should be covered by savings on the electricity bill. “Smart Green Solutions Ltd” is committed to playing a supportive role in the “Green Deal”.
The actual fern is from the Silver Fern: Cyathea dealbata, or the silver tree fern or silver fern (kaponga or ponga in the Māori language), is a species of medium-sized tree fern, endemic to New Zealand. It is a symbol commonly associated with the country both overseas and by New Zealanders themselves. (New Zealand is part of the British Commonwealth).
This fern is known to grow to heights of 10 m or more (though it occasionally takes a rare creeping form). The crown is dense, and the fronds tend to be about 4 m long and have a silver-white colouration on the undersides. This distinctive silver colouration has made them useful for laying along tracks for night walking, as it lights up under moon light.
Trish, one of our directors is from New Zealand and we wanted to use a plant form in our logo, but for us a plant form that lights the way is definitely what Smart Green Solutions is about.
Silver represents intuition, mystery, imagination and illusion. The traditional silver colour meaning is that of moon energy and female energy.
The colour silver is a sophisticated colour and is associated with wealth and riches. The female gives birth to new life, which is what renewable energy is all about.
Silver is an incredibly spiritual precious metal containing healing and health boosting energies. It gives a sense of balance and helps with mental, emotional and physical releasing and cleansing.
Silver is connected with the element of water, the direction West As our main office in the South west of England and close to the coast, this colour was essential for our logo.
Blue in the water droplet represents water: Water covers 70.9% of the Earth's surface, it is vital for all known forms of life.
On earth water moves continually through the hydrological cycle of evaporation and transpiration, condensation, precipitation, and runoff, usually reaching the sea.
Evaporation and transpiration contribute to the precipitation over land.
Hydropower or water power is power derived from the energy of falling water, which may be harnessed for useful purposes. Since ancient times, hydropower has been used for irrigation and the operation of various mechanical devices, such as watermills, sawmills, textile mills, dock cranes, and domestic lifts.
Curve of the name “Smart Green Solutions”. This is associated to the wind and how it has an effect on wind turbines.
At very low speeds, there is insufficient torque exerted by the wind on the turbine blades to make them rotate.
However, as the speed increase, the wind turbine will begin to rotate and generate electrical power.
The speed at which the turbine first starts to rotate and generate power is called the cut in speed and is typically between 3 and 4 metres per second.
As the wind speed rises above the cut-in speed, the level of electrical output power rises rapidly.
This is called the rated output power.
The curve is created between the cut in speed and the rated output power.
For all of us the importance of energy in our daily lives is paramount. Energy is essential to the modern world from our homes, to where we work, our children’s schools and almost everywhere you look. We need our energy to be affordable and reliable.
Traditional energy is based upon fossil fuels; oil, coal and gas. Other forms of energy such as Nuclear Power are potentially harmful should disaster strike.
Across the world, energy use contributes almost two thirds of greenhouse gas emissions, and these emissions are rising.
The arguments for global warming go on, but in truth if there was a way which would contribute towards the well-being of our planet, wouldn’t you want to help?
We are passionate about Green Energy, which has now come of age. In these exciting times there are many ways in which we can harness sources of energy that are carbon efficient and use less natural resources.
We love the fact that we can work in a sector which can contribute so much individually and collectively to our society and our precious planet.
We care about what we do and we want to enable the best solutions for those who consume and need energy. Our passion and commitment is what will make this work for you the client, the agent, the funding organisations. Bringing it all together to provide successful Green Energy solutions.
Smart Green Solutions is not just a company, it’s a statement of life choices and of our belief in Green Energy as the way forward!
