Key Energy - 2023
The first edition of the new K.EY will be held in Rimini from 22 to 24 March 2023. In 2030, 72% of electricity generation will have to come from renewable sources: Key Energy accepts the challenge, and from March 2023 will increase the space dedicated to the issues of renewables and energy transition in an autonomous event, with a new format, a new positioning for a new season: welcome to the new edition of K.EY!
- Event Type:
- Trade Show/Exhibition
- Mar. 22-24, 2023
- Rimini Expo Centre

The new K.EY will pick up the baton from Key Energy, enhancing its role as a major event in Italy and abroad, and confirming its role as a place for debate, discussion and updates on the entire range of renewables.
A comprehensive showcase of technology, integrated solutions and services that can drive the energy transition towards a carbon-neutral economy, as well as a cultural, scientific and technical reference hub and community catalyst capable of connecting and bringing together stakeholders, players and leaders from the world of renewables: not just a business platform, but also and above all an opportunity to get training and information on energy and the acceleration of the energy transition process already underway.
6 PILLARS TO SUPPORT INDUSTRIAL COMMUNITIES
For the March 2023 edition, we expect the exhibition area to double in size, a 30% increase in the number of exhibiting brands and more than double the number of attendees. Against this backdrop, the new K.EY will continue to develop the 6 pillars that have contributed to the show’s success, and plans to strengthen them by dedicating defined and connected spaces to each:
Area dedicated to photovoltaic technology and storage, in conjunction with ForumTech by Italia Solare.
Technologies and services for the construction and operation of onshore and offshore wind power plants.
Technologies and projects for hydrogen production and storage.
Technologies and services to optimise consumption and reduce the carbon footprint of industry and buildings.
Electric and sustainable mobility, from charging infrastructure to interconnection services.
Project dedicated to the transformation of cities according to the smart city model.
The first edition of the new K.EY will consist of three days of business and networking, featuring a Technical Scientific Committee of the highest quality, chaired by Professor Gianni Silvestrini and made up of institutions, industry trade associations, technical-scientific associations, bodies and foundations.
The three days will also include events, conferences, debates and workshops aimed at exploring aspects related to the world of renewables and energy transition at a national and international level, also from a regulatory viewpoint.
KEY ENERGY, from 8 to 11 November 2022, is the international reference point for fostering and accelerating the dissemination of renewable energy.
With a complete showcase of technology, solutions and services that can drive the energy transition, KEY ENERGY is a hub for discussion, new opportunities and updates across the entire renewables spectrum.
Energy efficiency, smart cities, renewable sources, sustainable mobility: with a schedule of events taking place throughout the year, besides being an indispensable opportunity to gain training and updates, KEY ENERGY is a community catalyst ensuring constant interconnection and communication between players and stakeholders.
The Scientific Committee consists of institutions, industry associations, technical-scientific associations, bodies and foundations. The 2022 programme will include conferences, debates and discussion spaces dedicated to the most important national and international regulations and innovations.
