Due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions on gatherings and travel, NAPE Summit will be a hybrid event. We will host NAPE Summit in person at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston and virtually on the NAPE Network.

New in 2021, NAPE Summit will include another avenue to connect, reconnect and make deals happen: The Renewable Energy Pavilion! Convince Your Boss
Need some tactical advice on getting your supervisor to approve your request to attend NAPE Summit? We have a few persuasive tips for communicating the benefit – both for you individually as well as for your entire company – of the expo and conference experience.
1. DO YOUR RESEARCH
Spend some time browsing our website, and familiarize yourself with NAPE Summit’s schedule, special events, Business Conference topics and speakers, current list of exhibitors, etc. The more you know, the greater confidence you’ll have when proposing the opportunity to your supervisor and answering his/her questions.
2. ESTABLISH THE BENEFITS
Make a strong case for your participation. Fill in the letter with the information gleaned from your research to form three to four solid selling points that support your request to attend. How do the expo experience and business conference sessions align with your company’s objectives? How does NAPE support your company’s short-term and long-term goals? Is there a company (or two, or three) you’re hoping to do business with that’s exhibiting at NAPE? Do the business conference topics relate to your expertise or is there something new you want to learn about?
3. CONVINCE YOUR BOSS
Share your letter with your supervisor and schedule a few minutes of face-to-face time with him/her to discuss the request. Taking initiative and being prepared are the first steps to a successful conversation. During your conversation, reinforce the main points in your letter and offer to make some sort of report – either verbal or written – to your team after the event to share the new knowledge and practices you picked up at NAPE.

Each session will be live-streamed and available on-demand on the NAPE Network.

NAPE Charities Keynote

At NAPE, we believe in giving back. Since 2009, over $4.75 million has been donated through our annual NAPE Charities Keynote to help charities that support U.S. veterans. We lend our wholehearted support by covering all event costs, so 100% of the funds donated go directly to the charities. Each year, this event features a different high-profile speaker and spotlights a group of deserving charities as award recipients.
Lend your support to deserving veterans by participating in the NAPE Charities Keynote. Sponsorships are available at wide-ranging levels and include special perks such as a photo op with the keynote speaker as well as premier reserved seating. To prioritize your health and safety, NAPE has modified the traditional luncheon event. This year, the NAPE Charities Keynote event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and take place in the General Assembly on the 3rd floor of the George R. Brown Convention Center. The event will feature theater-style seating with social distancing between seats, and lunch will be provided following the event at the Expo Lunch Buffet.
Prospect Previews
Looking for a way to enhance your NAPE experience and drive traffic to your booth? The Prospect Preview concept was designed to do just that. Leverage the limelight by giving a Prospect Preview presentation live at Summit and on-demand on the NAPE Network.
The in-person NAPE Summit Expo will feature 8-minute domestic and international theater presentations where exhibiting companies preview their current prospects available on the expo floor to NAPE attendees. This opportunity offers prospect education in quick show-and-tell-like presentations while simultaneously offering exhibitors an opportunity to pitch their prospects to a large audience and drive traffic to their booths at no additional cost.
Virtual exhibitors can also submit a Prospect Preview Presentation for on-demand viewing on the NAPE network to drive traffic to their virtual booth.
Complete this form to reserve a spot for your company to give a Prospect Preview. In-person presentations are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Mark the “I am interested” check box when uploading your prospect(s) to gain more information on how to become a part of the Prospect Previews.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Presentations will be featured in 8-minute time slots
- Preview Request Form must be completed and returned by July 16, 2021, to reserve a spot on the Theater Schedule
