20th International Congress for Battery Recycling ICBR 2015
September 23 - 25, 2015, Montreux, Switzerland
Just a few short weeks away, from 23 to 25 September 2015, international representatives of the battery recycling industry will be coming together in Montreux for the ICBR, the “International Congress for Battery Recycling”. Leading experts from the worlds of business, science and politics will again be discussing the latest trends, challenges and market opportunities in numerous talks and discussions. This year the focus is on future trends in the rechargeable battery market, new legal framework conditions and presentations of different collection schemes. Apart from country reports from the EU, the USA and Asia, separation of batteries from WEEE and materials used in batteries will be a central theme. Not least, recycling processes optimization und trends in new recycling technologies will be in the limelight. A workshop on lithium batteries transport & safety issues and a plant tour at the recycling company Batrec Industrie AG in Wimmis round off the program.
