A first introduction to World Bioenergy 2012
Source: Elmia AB
The World Bioenergy 2012 conference kicked-off for the first international delegates on their arrival to Stockholm Arlanda airport. At least for those who opted for the pre-conference “transfer” tour no. 1 taking them from the airport to Elmia in Jönköping via a number of bioenergy facilities en route.
One of the stops for the delegates was to the ENA Energi AB biomass fired combined heat and power plant (CHP) located in the city of Enköping, about 70 km west of Stockholm. The plant uses a variety of biomass sources including willow grown as short rotation coppice (SRC) and post-consumer waste wood.
