A Fuel Cell that runs on food scraps and sewage

The sun doesn’t shine all the time, but you’re always going to generate waste.
That, in part, is the premise behind Seab Energy, a startup from the UK that has built and begun to sell a modular digester that converts organic materials like day-old club sandwiches, spoiled mayonnaise and sewage into heat and power. (We met at the Cleantech Forum this week in San Francisco.)
