Lakewood, NJ (PRWEB) April 03, 2013 -- Aquatherm Industries announced today it has received approval from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) to conduct a Continuing Education Course on the topic of Solar Pool Heating as a NABCEP Continuing Education Provider. The course will also satisfy training requirements set forth NABCEP to become a Certified Solar Heating Installer.
The pilot session of this course will be held at the NABCEP Continuing Education Conference in Malta, NY which will be held April 12-14, 2013.
Within the three hour course, attendees will learn how to design, engineer, and install a solar pool heating system. The session will aim to provide a comprehensive education on solar thermal systems for swimming pool heating applications. After an introduction into the history and origins of pool heating, discussions on existing market opportunities will help attendees identify potential candidates for solar. Basic solar concepts will be reviewed, as they pertain to pool heating, before comparing the role played by various thermal technologies. Additional time will be spent on safety, standards, special mounting scenarios, and system troubleshooting.
