Bailey Named Division Engineering Director for Eaton`s Aerospace Group
LOS ANGELES -- Power management company Eaton has named David Bailey director of engineering for the Aerospace Group's Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division. In his new role, he leads Eaton's global engineering team in the development of advanced aerospace products, systems and technologies, including new product introductions. Bailey reports to Mike Beck, vice president and general manager of the Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division, and is based in Los Angeles, Calif.
“David has been in the aerospace industry for the majority of his career and brings with him deep technical engineering expertise along with a great leadership style,” said Beck. “He is a valuable member of our leadership team.”

Previously, Bailey was vice president of landing systems for Crane Aerospace & Electronics, where he led the brake-control business. Prior to Crane, he was employed by Meggitt Aircraft as head of engineering.
Bailey received a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Salford; a master's degree in control systems from the University of Sheffield; an MBA from Warwick Business School, The University of Warwick; and a doctorate in aircraft systems from Cranfield University College of Aeronautics.
