What is Capreg About?
CapREG “Capacity Development on Renewable Energy and Grid Integration” is a capacity building programme financed by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU)within the German International Climate Initiative (IKI).
From 2014 to 2016, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG provided scholarships for several trainings on renewable energy and grid integration for professionals from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru. Recognising the high demand for further CapREG trainings, the BMUB agreed to extend the funding for the CapREG programme until the end of 2018 including further face-to-face trainings in Berlin as well as a six-month's internet-based training programme.
CapREG is a scholarship programme. Thus, seminar fees upto 100% as well as part of the travel costs for the Berlin seminars are covered by the programme. Interested candidates are kindly invited to apply online for a scholarship. What Does the Capreg Offer?
Within CapREG, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG offers different kinds of trainings, networking and exchange of experiences for professionals from Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Peru and Ecuador.
