Connected to the future
Yes, we still make our incinerators in the UK, but now we are connected to the Matthews global network.
They say that the world is getting smaller and for Matthews Environmental Solutions, based near Manchester, England, that is certainly very much the case. Not only does our export market cover virtually every region of the world with international sales of our waste incinerators, human cremation and animal cremation plant now in operation across every continent from Antarctica to Northern Europe and the Americas, but now thanks to advanced new IT technology we are also directly connected to the international Matthews global network.
What this means is that from our offices and workshops in England, where we design and manufacture British built incinerators in the UK, we are now able to connect directly with any other Matthews office. Wherever in the world that might be. We can instantly obtain information, share files, access data, drawings and technical specifications on any piece of equipment that has been produced by our international network of companies. We can tap into expert knowledge from a host of different group companies across a wealth of countries. This is a global network of experience, expertise and enterprise that is now available to us and what is more it is there for the benefit of our own customers.
Just think about it. Our American, European and Asian offices are now as close as our computer. They are so convenient that they could just as easily be in the office next door. Problem sharing. Problem-solving. When you have a world of knowledge and all the answers you’re looking for right there at your fingertips progress is quicker, smoother and infinitely more cost-effective.
While we are naturally proud of our incinerators in the UK successes, having this global connectivity will undoubtedly provide greater access to a previously unavailable reservoir of talent and technology.
Likewise, other Matthews group companies will now be able to tap into the unique knowledge bank that we have developed through our incinerators in the UK business.
The result of this global network development will, without a doubt, be increased international cooperation, bringing with it improved knowledge sharing, which will inevitably lead on to even better products, more advanced technology, plus enhanced performance and service for our home based as well as for all our international customers.
This new global network marks the beginning of a new era in international collaboration. But it is only the beginning. This connectivity is also future-proof and it has been designed to accommodate the growth that will inevitably occur in the months and years to come.
Here in England our core made in Britain business will still be manufacturing incinerators in the UK, but now it will be backed by a level of global support like never before.
