David Weekley Homes Presents Eaton with Prestigious “Partners of Choice” Award for Seventh Year
Pittsburgh -- Power management company Eaton today announced that it earned the distinguished “Partners of Choice” Award from David Weekley Homes for the seventh year. Eaton is one of 13 suppliers this year to achieve an “A,A” ranking in quality and service over a 12-month period from David Weekley Homes, the largest privately held homebuilder in the United States. The Partners of Choice Award places Eaton in the top percentage of companies that participate in the homebuilder’s interactive evaluation platform.
“We source products from top competitors in each industry. What separates great from good providers are those that realize they must actively manage the supply chain to consistently deliver high quality, competitively priced products,” said Bill Justus, vice president, Supply Chain Services, David Weekley Homes. “The evaluation process is rigorous, and only those that are committed to excellence will do well. Our friends at Eaton have demonstrated through their actions that they are world-class in delivering service to David Weekley Homes.”
The National Trading Partner Survey is at the heart of David Weekley Homes’ unique supplier evaluation platform. David Weekley Homes conducts quarterly reviews of approximately 200 suppliers by 800 team members at all levels of the organization. The National Trading Partner Survey is the engine behind the Performance Rating System for determining excellence, by rating and ranking suppliers. Every supplier receives a scorecard each quarter with results, then through a series of discussions, meetings and coaching calls, David Weekley Homes and its suppliers search for the best way to achieve excellence together.
“Being recognized for a seventh time by one of the country’s best homebuilders, David Weekley Homes, is an honor and a testament to Eaton’s dedication to providing high-quality products and services to our customers,” said Joanne Edwards, senior vice president and general manager, Residential and Wiring Devices Division, Eaton. “Our relationship with Weekley continues to grow and we congratulate and recognize their leadership and achievements in the industry.”
