Dutch Incinerators Celebrates 6 Months of Successful Incinerator Operation
Six months of successful operations were celebrated today since the startup of a rotary kiln based medical waste incinerator in Thailand.
After 3 months of operation the plant was inspected in January and since then the incinerator has been in continuous operation ever since, for more than 3 months uninterrupted operation.
Dutch Incinerators designs are characterized by the focus on operational reliability, enabling continuous operation without any planned or unplanned shutdowns for maintenance or cleaning for at least 1 year.
The medical waste incinerator as commissioned in October 2016 has a capacity of 12 tons/day, includes heat recovery for medical waste storage room cooling, stack plume suppression and a dual stage emission control system, based on both dry and wet scrubbing. All emissions are in full compliance with EU and Thai emission regulations.
