Dynamis Energy Announces Delivery of Portable Waste Gasification Unit to the U.S. Air Force
Eagle, ID -- Dynamis Energy, LLC, a technology development company focused on waste management and energy production, announced that it has completed a contract with Concurrent Technologies Corporation and the Air Force Research Laboratory to deliver a portable waste gasification prototype unit to the Air Force.
Concurrent Technologies Corporation was contracted by the United States (US) Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to investigate options for processing solid waste generated at deployed and austere locations, with the objective of eliminating unhealthy burn pits and reducing overall operating costs. Concurrent Technologies Corporation conducted a search for available technologies meeting AFRL’s requirements, and selected Dynamis’ gasification technology.
Dynamis Energy, LLC redesigned the footprint of its WasteStation to interface with the United States Air Force (USAF)’s existing deployment equipment requirements. The redesigned waste processing system was then successfully tested over an 8-month period at the Dynamis and is now undergoing additional extended field-testing at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.
“We are excited to be able to work with Concurrent Technologies Corporation to deliver a solution to the USAF for solid waste processing and provide a healthier alternative to waste management for the USAF and the service men and women of this country,” said Kevin McNulty, CEO of Dynamis Energy.
Eileen Schmura, “Project Manager, from Concurrent Technologies Corporation, said, “This is an exciting project that will allow the USAF to manage solid waste at deployed and austere locations while minimizing the effects to personnel and the environment. Concurrent Technologies Corporation and Dynamis worked diligently toward this goal.”
