Eaton Launches New Copper Loadcenter to Simplify Light Commercial Construction Projects
PITTSBURGH, PA -- Power management company Eaton today announced a new three-phase copper loadcenter. Designed to enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance in light commercial and residential applications, the loadcenter accepts plug-on Type BR circuit breakers with the ability to fill project orders directly from stock to save time and simplify ordering. The solution is available in industry-leading ratings up to 600 amperes (A), while installation complexity is reduced through one design that is field adjustable for top or bottom feed applications.
“The new Type BR three-phase loadcenters provide customers with a reliable solution for projects where the flexibility of plug-on breakers is needed,” said Andrew Zahn, product manager at Eaton. “The launch also expands upon Eaton’s portfolio of solutions available directly from stock to help contractors and channel partners simplify ordering and reduce lead times, helping to effectively maintain project timelines.”
The compact enclosure size of Eaton’s copper loadcenter helps reduce the footprint of electrical distribution equipment with flush mounted capability within standard stud width. Further, all units include a metal backpan for superior breaker mounting and durability.
