Eaton’s Aerospace facility in Georgia Awarded for excellent supplier performance by Defense Logistics Agency
Toccoa, Georgia -- Power management company Eaton has announced that its aerospace facility in Toccoa, Ga., was recently recognized for exceptional supplier performance by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, which provides supplies to America's military forces worldwide.
Eaton's Toccoa facility received a bronze award for achieving 12-month scores of 98 to 98.9 percent in the DLA’s Automated Best Value Supplier evaluation system, which collects vendor performance data for quality and delivery and translates it into a numeric score ranging from zero to 100. Eaton's aerospace facility in Jackson, Mich., also received a bronze award.

Eaton's Toccoa facility, which has a workforce of 147 employees, manufactures a variety of pneumatic systems components, including V-band couplings, sheet metal and machined flanges, flex joints and ducts, band clamps and straps, and rotationally molded ducts. The components are used on a broad array of military aircraft fleets, including AH-64, CH-53E, MH-60, UH-60 and V-22 helicopters; F-15, F-16 and F-18 fighter jets; and AC-130, B-1B and C-130 airplanes.
DLA Land and Maritime manages almost 2 million spare parts and supports more than 145,000 customers in the military services, civilian agencies and other Department of Defense organizations.
