EUEC 2009: to address president elect Obama`s proposed initiatives
EUEC, the USA's largest energy and environment conference, has announced that over 450 world leading experts will make presentations on critical issues addressing President-elect Obama’s Proposed Initiatives relating to securing Americas energy independence at the Phoenix Convention Center February 1-4, 2009.
'The timing of this year's conference brings together senior management professionals at the onset of what is likely to be an active year for energy and environmental policy particularly with President Elect Obama’s proposed initiatives on renewable energy in the United States,' said Dr. Prabhu Dayal, Chair of EUEC 2009, the 12th Annual Conference on Energy & Environment. “Renewable Energy & Global Warming are a major focus of this conference challenging and providing options for corporations to develop Greenhouse Gas reduction strategies that reduce corporate carbon footprints.”
President-elect Obama stated in his speech January 8th at George Mason University, “To finally spark the creation of a clean energy economy, we will double the production of alternative energy in the next three years. We will modernize more than 75% of federal buildings and improve the energy efficiency of two million American homes, saving consumers and taxpayers billions on our energy bills. In the process, we will put Americans to work in new jobs that pay well and can't be outsourced—jobs building solar panels and wind turbines; constructing fuel-efficient cars and buildings; and developing the new energy technologies that will lead to even more jobs, more savings, and a cleaner, safer planet in the bargain.”
EUEC has been recognized as a “must attend” annual meeting in the United States for energy and environment professionals to network with experts and learn about cutting edge technologies and strategies concerning renewable energy and carbon management. Over 2000 delegates will be able to network in a 200 company exhibit area where buffet style lunches, receptions and snacks are served over three days—February 2-4, 2009. 12 pre-conference workshops are offered on Sunday, February 1, with specialized training on new technologies and services concerning climate change and renewable energy.
