Heating and cooling with waste water
Source: RABTHERM AG
15 - 20 years ago, oil and gas prices were so low, that energy recovery from waste water was technologically a good idea but financially not ready for marketing. Thanks to our research and development in the last 25 years, the roi of our technology was improved to remarkable 2 - 6 years.
Politically and thanks to an open minded energy and environmental awareness, waste water as a local energy source (oil of the cities) is more up-to-date than ever. We are very much pleased about this situation.
Waste water today makes up 50% or more of the energy loss in a building, on the other hand, waste water can cover about 15 to 20% of the total heating demand, more than biomass, wood, solar and surface geothermal-energy together.
During the last 2 to 3 years, we were overwhelmed with inquiries from students worldwide. This resulted in increasing time effort and cost. It is our aim to bring our knowhow to professional people, so we can bring the technology together forward. Think: Waste water is the best alternative energy source for heating and cooling.
