Linde Experts to Discuss Hydrogen Fueling Successes at Fuel Cell Summit
MURRAY HILL & NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Three Linde North America alternative fuels experts will be featured speakers at the one-day Washington Fuel Cell Summit: Advancing America’s Transportation and Power Generation and Infrastructure, to be held on June 19 in Washington, DC, at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill.

The Washington Fuel Cell Summit is sponsored by the Hydrogen Education Foundation, which promotes clean hydrogen energy technologies, the National Fuel Cell Research Center, dedicated to accelerating the development and deployment of fuel cell technology and systems, and the Technology Transition Corporation, which provides advocacy and consulting services to the renewable and clean energy industries.
Mike Beckman, vice president of hydrogen fueling and industrial applications for Linde North America, said, “Linde has been a vigorous supporter of alternate energy for decades and has been a pioneer in bringing hydrogen into use as a cost-effective everyday fuel. We believe the Washington Fuel Cell Summit provides a great opportunity to heighten the awareness among various government entities, such as Congress, DOE, DOT and FTA, of the commercial successes achieved in using hydrogen to fuel cars, buses, trucks and forklifts that help improve sustainability, lower emissions and reduce our dependence on foreign fuel.”
Beckman said, “Linde is one of the earliest entrants into the hydrogen energy arena and we’ve played an integral role in the commercial advancements in hydrogen fueling technology and applications. Three Linde hydrogen fueling experts will be presenting some of these achievements at the Conference.”
