Mitsubishi Electric to Exhibit at Eco-Products 2011
TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO:6503) announced today that it will exhibit a variety of green products, technologies and initiatives at Eco-Products 2011, one of the largest environmental exhibitions in Japan, which will take place at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition complex on December 15–17. The company will introduce how it is working to support low-carbon, recycling-based societies in a wide range of businesses in line with its goal of 'becoming a global, leading green company.'
The main stage of the Mitsubishi Electric booth (No. 3029, East Hall 3) will present environmental products and initiatives via the company's own large, high-resolution, organic light-emitting display (Diamond Vision OLED), laid out in a dramatic semispherical configuration. Visitors also will be able to tour the booth and learn about the company's many sustainable power-saving solutions.
Zones and Main Exhibits
Low-carbon Society Zone
- Low-carbon solutions for homes: Power- saving Setsuden Assist appliances, such as air conditioners, refrigerators and LCD televisions; home energy-management systems (HEMS) and examples of research being conducted at the company's smart house in Kamakura, Japan; smart electrical appliances including photovoltaic systems, heat-pump hot water supply systems and induction-heating cooking systems; light-emitting diode (LED) lighting; and car navigation systems for efficient eco-driving.
- Low-carbon solutions for society: Power-saving technologies in factories such as e&ecoF@ctory and demand-monitoring systems; energy-saving facima solutions for offices; examples of Mitsubishi Electric's smart-grid research; LED lighting; data centers; EleFine hydraulic elevators for building renewals; pulp-molded semiconductor packages; IBUKI greenhouse gas monitoring satellite; and SOLARBIRD space-based solar-driven power-generation system.
Recycling Society Zone
- Water recycling initiatives at the company's home appliances recycling factory; micro-bubble cleansing technologies; and ozone generators for water treatment.
Environmental Mindset Zone
- Mitsubishi Electric Outdoor Classroom, airings of 'The Beauty of NATURE' and others.
