Nederman has signed an agreement to acquire 100 % of the shares in National Conveyor Company Inc. (NCC), a company active in metal chip processing and ash handling systems.
NCC fits very well with Nederman’s existing machining business and will give Nederman entry to the North American machining market. Synergies in-between NCC and Nederman have also been identified in the area of equipment for handling of lime and ash, which is commonly utilized in Nederman’s Filter Solutions for the foundry and steel making industries. NCC has a revenue of 50 MSEK and has 17 employees.
“The acquisition of NCC gives Nederman access to the important North American machining market. NCC will also be an important bridge head for better penetration of our technology for oil mist filtration where Nederman made an important acquisition of Filtac AB in September 2015”, says Sven Kristensson, Nederman’s President and CEO.
”It is with great pleasure I acknowledge that NCC now becomes part of the most knowledgeable organization in the area of process- and air treatment. Nederman’s organization gives us the Group advantages needed to continue our growth”, saysArnold Serenkin, President of NCC.
NCC is incorporated in the Nederman Group from November 5, 2015.
