Noesis Energy, whose free, cloud-based energy management platform puts businesses in control of their energy costs, announced the official launch of the Energy Advisor Program (EAP). The EAP is free for energy consultants and provides them with the ability to deliver their energy management services using Noesis' online tools, reports and resources. EAP consultants can upload their company information so their analyses, reports and customer emails are branded with their company name, logo and contact information. To help them find new business, all EAP members are promoted as local experts on the Noesis website. Noesis is expanding the program into major markets across the United States, and is accepting applications from local experts in every functional area of energy management.
'The global network of energy consultants is a crucial element of the energy-efficiency value chain,' said Dave Jaros, VP of marketing at Noesis Energy. 'The Energy Advisor Program equips them with the tools and resources they need to identify, document and demonstrate energy efficiency improvements and cost savings that can unlock investment in energy-saving projects.'
What energy consultants are saying about Noesis Energy's Energy Advisor Program
'As facility engineers, we routinely encounter organizations that do not have an effective energy database or EMS. Energy consumption is manually input by a data-entry person, and validation, trending, and reporting at the management level is complicated and time consuming,' said Timothy Nichols, principal at the AEC Group in Newmarket, New Hampshire. 'Noesis has developed a simple, real-time platform that empowers facility managers with the tools necessary to track energy performance and savings for discrete conservation measures. This expedites the desktop review for our engineers, allowing us to focus on systems improvements and optimization.'
'Over the past few months, I have turned to using Noesis as a source for collaboration with my peers, as a repository for my clients' EPA portfolio manager information, and as an educational tool for best practices in the industry,' said Michael Vargas, principal of Atlas Support Project of San Diego, California. 'I have tried many other energy management tools with limited success. In Noesis, I have found a significant upgrade in functionality and usability. The interface is user friendly, and the reach and breadth of information and users is significant.'
'Blue Ocean Energy is extremely pleased to be part of the Noesis web-based energy management program,' said Bo Petersen, principal at Blue Ocean Energy, an Austin-based energy consulting firm. 'We use the Noesis platform to analyze a building's energy usage and benchmark portfolio performance, and have been able to identify energy efficiency opportunities and help clients save money — which is our number one goal.'
'The Noesis platform helps us turn data into useful information that helps our clients understand how they use energy, how much energy they use, and what projects will reduce their costs and usage,' said Grant Dorris, owner of Day One Ventures of Nashville, Tennessee. 'Making well-informed energy management decisions is a step toward understanding that energy is an asset that can be profitably managed.'
'Noesis helps us communicate the cost impact of energy consumption fluctuations and the benefits that a proactive approach to energy management can produce,' said James Iliffe, general manager of EmSquared Australia of Sydney, Australia.
'Noesis delivers huge value. Not just for us in terms of quick visualizations on energy use, but in terms of ongoing energy monitoring for our clients as well,' said Sarah Gudeman, energy analyst at Morrissey Engineering in Omaha, Nebraska. 'What other free tool lets owners and building operators monitor and analyze their energy use with nothing more needed than an ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account?'
'Noesis Energy allows us to easily make sense of energy usage and communicate our findings with any of our clients, whether we're working with a CEO or an office manager. We can quickly and easily generate baseline models and performance graphs that help our clients make informed decisions about their facilities,' said Matt Huffman, manager of energy services at Murphy & Miller Inc. of Chicago, Illinois.
'The Noesis platform has made the process of measurement and verification (degree-day-normalized whole building analysis) much simpler for me and my clients. It adds tremendous value to my business as an energy consultant and to my clients. I look forward to utilizing many of Noesis' other features and services,' said Matthew Reischer, president of Northeastern Energy Consultants of Voorhees, New Jersey.
'Noesis is a great resource that helps building owners understand, monitor and control their energy use. They have established their credibility and, by association, it helps my business demonstrate credibility as well. The education programs have helped me improve my services and marketing skills. Best of all, it's free!' said Steve Sunderman, president of Terrazia High Performance Building Consultants of Roanoke, Virginia.
