PlanET Biogastechnik gets perfect grades for plant technique and service in an independent national survey
The technical agricultural magazine „Profi“ recently published a comprehensive biogas survey, where they announced PlanET Biogastechnik as one of the best biogas plant provider in technique and service (cf. Edition 10.11. and 12. 2008). More than 9 out of 10 of the respondent operators stated that they would build again with PlanET Biogastechnik. In total 2.580 operators were contacted in spring 2008. This number is equivalent to 70% of all installed biogas plants in Germany.
Due to the high rate of return (631 questionnaires) Profi was able to provide representative data about the quality standard of the German biogas provider for the first time.
Mr. Hendrik Becker, executive manager of PlanET Biogastechnik, was especially pleased about the outstanding results of the survey. “To hear that 94% of our customers would build again with PlanET is of course an enormous sign of confidence and makes us extremely proud.” says Mr. Becker. “ This statement can be evaluated as an overall impression, which our customers gained of us over the last couple of years, Not only for the design and construction of the plants but also our fair dealing behaviour in case of defects or problems with the biogas plant,” explains Mr. Becker further. To achieve such good customer satisfaction also in the future, we are going to follow our strategy. Our consulting service as well as our plant technique will consequently be adjusted to the requirements of the particular plant. Only in this way is it possible to guarantee a biogas plant, which makes fun and is profitable at the same time. Efficiency can only be reached if capacity and cost are well balanced, hence we develop customised concepts, instead of off-the-shelf standard plants.
Further to the excellent grades for service and customer satisfaction, PlanET also received also outstanding ratings for the technical categories, namely for agitation technique, digester, control system, pumping technology, installation and maintenance.
The 44 PlanET plant operators, who took part in the survey, expressed their satisfaction about the high flexibility in the choice of the pumping technologies. With a mix of systems and products, PlanET strives successfully to find the most suitable pump for each plant, the author of the article assumes. The author also points out the positive development in the gas storage sector through the new PlanET air supported foil cover, which provides more stability and emission protection than the basic membrane, due to its double membrane. Jörg Meyer zu Strohe, executive manager of PlanET Biogastechnik, pointed out that the comparatively young biogas technology is undergoing continuous change and that the developing process is still not finished.“ The enormous technical improvements and the raise in efficiency over the last 10 years, shows that PlanET was and still is eager to reduce years, shows that PlanET was and still is eager to reduce the existing performance deficits. The ongoing improvement and development of the product range is the result of our experience, which we were able to gain as one of the first turn key plant provider,” explains Mr Meyer zu Strohe. The statement of the executive manager the conclusion from the Profi article, where it is stated in the résumé that many of the problems mentioned are already stories of the past, due to the continuous improvements.Nowadays the financial risk for new customers is significantly reduced, due to the improved technology.
The operators also complimented the PlanET after-sales-service. According to Profi “PlanET received the best rating for service. However although the results are satisfactory, PlanET will not rest on the laurels”, says Mr. Meyer zu Strohe, “ and we will continue to optimise our plants through technological developments and improved service.“
