Green energy engaged for the economic recovery
Verona, Italy -- 52,500 professional visitors at Solarexpo and Greenbuilding, the leading trade fair in Italy and among the top three events worldwide.
“The exhibitors are really satisfied because, despite the present uncertain legislative framework for the renewable energies and especially for the solar sector, they see Solarexpo as a true B2B event, with highly qualified visitors and buyers” – said Sara Quotti Tubi, director of the international conference and exhibition.
The figures of the 2012 edition:
1,230 exhibitors
11 exhibition halls
120,000 sq m exhibition area
60 conferences and seminars on renewable energies, energy efficiency and sustainable architecture
480 speakers
6,000 conference participants
300 registered journalists
“On Sundays and public holidays the ‘new renewable energies’ (FV and wind energy) succeed in covering even 50% of the nation’s electricity need. A result which was unbelievable only a couple of years ago – commented Luca Zingale, scientific director of Solarexpo. - In an economy and in a society that in the 21st century will be more and more characterized by electricity technologies, also in the mobility and in heating and cooling, all connected by the new paradigm of the smart grids – solar confirms to be a powerful driver of evolution and sustainable economic growth”.
The 14th edition of Solarexpo in 2013 will be at Fiera Milano - Rho.
