Technology on show at greeenbuilding 2010
Greenbuilding, the international exhibition and conference on energy efficiency and sustainable architecture, which will be held at Verona exhibition centre, Italy, on 5-7 May 2010, is putting technological innovation in the limelight. Domotics (home & building automation) will be one of the main focus topics for Greenbuilding’s fourth edition alongside professional software (design, simulation and energy certification), the latter being a focus area for the first time at Greenbuilding. “When it comes to energy efficiency and new building approaches, technology plays a key role,” explains Sara Quotti Tubi, director of Greenbuilding. “That’s why we decided to highlight the themes of domotics and professional software with two dedicated spaces – or technology focus areas – where exhibitors can find the perfect place to have their stand. On the other hand,” Sara Quotti Tubi adds, “visitors come to Greenbuilding because they know they can find here the latest that the market has to offer on issues that are of most interest to the sustainable architecture sector.”
The success of the previous edition bodes well for Greenbuilding 2010. “Many companies have already confirmed their presence and they’re signing up at a rate that’s clearly higher than last year,” Greenbuilding’s director continues. “Companies are often calling us to ask to exhibit because they understand that this is an important period for the sector. Energy efficiency is becoming a must for many players, and no longer just an option.”
The following are among the brands that have chosen to be present at Greenbuilding 2010: Internorm Italia, Termocadif, Far Systems, Bioisotherm, Clima Grün, KME Italy and General Membrane. For the four technology focus areas, the following names have signed up: Teta Project, Waterkotte, My Clima, Geotermia, La Filometallica, Veled, Fiatlux by ARCO Scientifica, 888 Software Products, Legnami Mattarei, Wall to Wall, Haas Fertigbau and Rensch-Haus.
