Verisae’s Paul Hepperla to Speak at 2011 FMI Energy & Store Development Conference
Hepperla to present on energy modeling and real-time energy monitoring
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Mr. Paul Hepperla, vice president of strategy at Verisae, will speak at the 2011 FMI Energy & Store Development Conference in Atlanta, GA on September 18-21, 2011. Hepperla will present on ways grocery retailers can reduce energy use and costs within their environments.
In his session, titled “Energy Modeling and Real-Time Monitoring,” Hepperla will discuss common techniques, business benefits, and potential pitfalls in energy modeling and real-time monitoring programs as well as requirements for utility incentives and LEED. In addition, the presentation will prove why the myriad of utility-based monitoring programs may not be the best route to pursue.
“For grocery retailers, there are two technologies that stand out to help them improve their energy management and efficiency -- energy modeling software and real-time energy monitoring,” said Mr. Hepperla. “For new construction and remodeling projects, especially if you are pursuing LEED, energy modeling is necessary and beneficial. Real-time monitoring is ideal for continuous improvement and validation. These technologies empower companies to make informed operational decisions and ultimately give them access to the data they need to accomplish their corporate goals.”
2011 FMI Energy & Store Development Conference attendees will explore energy management, facilities management, and refrigeration trends and technologies along with an array of other store development ideas and solutions.
