About IG
The role of the Iceland Geothermal Cluster is to promote Iceland as the land of geothermal energy and geothermal energy production.
Iceland Geothermal
Iceland Geothermal represents the geothermal sector in Iceland and has on average more than 50 members that together manage the geothermal resources of the country. Some of our members are active players in the development and utilization of geothermal energy outside of Iceland, as Icelandic companies are actively taking part in geothermal project all around the globe.
Cluster Members
The members of the geothermal cluster are from all sides of the map. Enclosed imaged shows the cluster map and its many different functions needed. On average there are around 50 members in the cluster.
Collaboration
To reach its aims the Iceland Geothermal Cluster Initiative focus is to increase innovation and development by building on sharing knowledge and experience as well as building up platform for communication and coordination.
