From K 4x4
The K 4x4 fuel tank is ideal for refueling equipment fleets in remote locations and harsh environments. It’s the lifeline that keeps many pipeline and other construction crews running without interruption.
The K 4x4 comes standard with a Cummins QSB 6.7L diesel engine. Rated at 190 HP at 2,200 RPM, this high-torque unit offers plenty of power to get where you need.
With five forward gears and one reverse gear, the fully automatic Allison transmission features a push button shifter and adaptive shifting technology.
The two-speed transfer case efficiently transfers torque to the wheels. It offers front axle disconnect for 2x4 or 4x4 performance.
Extra-heavy-duty axles are rigid-mounted to the frame. They offer heavy-duty inboard planetaries, and the front axle includes a “no-spin” feature to deliver full power to both front wheels, even when one loses traction. Driver controlled differential lock is available.
The fully enclosed inboard wet-disc brakes are pressure applied. The K 4x4 also features an emergency brake off the transfer case. It is spring applied with hydraulic release.
Durable tires offer excellent longevity, traction and floatation for traversing practically any terrain you may encounter.
The K 4x4 has a high-strength tubular steel frame with a heavy-duty articulated center pivot trunnion.
Engineered for maximum safety, the standard open-air cab is ROPS certified.
The unit is equipped with ample lighting for superior visibility. It includes LED lights at the front and rear corners of the vehicle, red rear lights and white reverse lights. It also has a flashing warning light on top of the cab.
The K 4x4 keeps refueling to a minimum with the 60-gallon (227.1 L) tank.
The square steel (6 mm) water tank includes a convenient 500 mm manhole on the top.
A 40 gpm hydraulically driven pump is included for efficient fuel transfer.
