Innoventum - Model Dali PowerTower - Hybrid Power Plant
From Hybrid Solutions
Dali PowerTower Performance is a hybrid power plant designed to maximize efficiency in local energy production. The wind turbine and solar panels are installed on a design and patent-protected 12 m Dali XII wooden tower. Dali PowerTower Performance is an excellent choice for many applications. The turbine can supply renewable electricity to summer cottages, villas, lighting or other electrical equipment. The installation can be connected to the mains or used independently with a battery to, for example, replace a diesel generator. Alternator & Turbine Blade
The turbine on the Dali PowerTower Performance has a permanent magnet generator that limits the rotation speed to 250 rpm. The lower speed extends the life of the turbine and reduces the noise level. Energy production starts at low wind speeds of 3 m/s and maintains high capacity even in very strong winds. The turbine blades are equipped with a passive centrifugal system that optimizes the blade angle and thus enables continued production at wind speeds where competing turbines must be stopped.
The blades are manufactured with RTM technology (Resin Transfer Molding) based on polyester material enriched with fiberglass. The result is lightweight components with higher mechanical strength. By using manufacturing methods based on the most advanced technologies used in large-scale wind turbines, the weight of the blades can be reduced by half, thus extending the life of the turbine.
Corrosion-resistant turbine with waterproof design
The turbine gaskets are water tight and the metal components are surface treated to achieve maximum weather protection and resistance to corrosion. Our wooden towers do well in coastal areas because wood does not corrode in the presence of increased humidity.
Solar modularity
The quantity of modules and orientation angle can be adjusted to suit all energy requirements. From 6 to 16 modules can be installed on the tower with or without additional ground screws.
The Wind Turbine's Certification
The wind turbine is certified according to all leading certification systems (which authorizes the turbine for all existing benefits and financial support): Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) in the UK AWEA Certification in the USA Class NK Certification in Japan.
Durability & Performance
Dali Performance is built to last over 25 years in tough conditions such as in marine environments or in places with particularly strong winds. The wind turbine can produce energy in wind gusts up to 60 m/s (Class 1 according to international standard IEC 61400-2), which is classified as hurricane winds. The well-built and robust design allows the turbine to handle the mechanical loads caused by sustained and strong winds found in specific locations with average winds of up to 9 m/s. The energy production varies depending on the installation location, for example 7,800 kWh/year at an average wind of 6 m/s + 2,000 kWh/year from solar energy (installed in Sweden).
