The EMC1 from Emlite has two measuring elements for independent measurement of energy generation (Element 1) and grid import/export (Element 2). The meter is designed for monitoring how much energy is being utilised from a source of energy generation like solar, and how much surplus energy is being exported to the grid.

Monitoring on Openmetrics
The meter comes with an integrated GPRS communications module for automatic meter reading on the Openmetrics web portal. Openmetrics provides readings for net energy import, export and generation.
