ESPE - Hydraulic Turbine Machines
From Hydroelectric
The hydraulic turbine is a machine that turns hydraulic energy into mechanical energy, with a conversion yield of approximately 90%. This mechanical energy is then converted into electrical energy by means of an alternator. ESPE turbines are directly engineered by our R&D Department. ESPE manages, checks and supervises the entire production process to provide highly customised and high yield- machines and systems.
Products Details
The production chain necessary to create a hydraulic turbine consists of several steps. In particular, it is the Engineering Office that collects the information to determine the size that is more suitable to satisfy the needs of the individual customer. Subsequently, the type of desired hydraulic profile and finishing of the surfaces are determined so that the system can ensure maximum energy yield. The phases of construction and installation are performed by in-house resources and specialised partners. The production cycle concludes with the testing phase of the structure which allows checking of the degree of efficiency of the same at the time of sale. After handover to the customer, ESPE continues tomonitor the turbine in order to ensure continuous and secure yield of the structure.
Depending on individual needs, ESPE designs and manufactures Pelton, Francis, Kaplan turbines.
