Advanced Enclosed Flare/Combustors Systems
Catalytic Combustion's Enclosed Combustor System is designed to safely burn combustible process vapors that have varying energy content. The advanced Enclosed Combustion System preheats like a direct fired thermal oxidizer. When the high BTU gas is introduced into the combustion chamber, the Enclosed Combustor turns off the supplemental fuel supply and maintains combustion temperature by introducing combustion/quench air using natural draft through a modulating louver. Enclosed Combustor Systems combine the simplicity of an enclosed flare with the proven performance of a thermal oxidizer.

Product Details
The unit is equipped with a direct gas fuel fired primary air burner with combustion air blower. The gas pre-heater is controlled from the thermocouple and sized to provide sufficient energy in order to preheat the combustion chamber to the appropriate operating temperature (1,400°F typical). Flame supervision is achieved by use of a UV Detector and approved flame safety programmer.
The fuel gas piping assembly is pre-piped and pre-wired and meets all requirements as specified in NFPA 86, FM and NEMA 4. The NEMA 4 control panel is completely assembled, wired and mounted at eye level.
