Luxatemp Automix Solar - Bisacryl Provisional Crown and Bridge Material
Luxatemp Automix Solar is a high quality bisacryl provisional crown and bridge material dentists love, in an improved light-cure formula. The material starts out rubbery and flexible for ease of use and sculpt, and then light cures on command to form strong, abrasion-resistant provisionals.

Luxatemp Solar was specifically developed for multi-part restorations. Its elastic phase was prolonged thus simplifying the removal of the temporary – undercuts do not tear.
It provides extended working time when sculpting temporary crowns and bridges outside the mouth adding speed, flexibility and convenience to the workflow. It light cures in seconds for immediate final hardness.
The high hardness of the provisional prevents wearing down and perforations, eliminating the risk of saliva, bacteria and thermal irritants reaching the tooth.
Luxatemp Automix Solar produces minimal heat during polymerization, it's the same as body temperature, which allows a dental practitioner to fabricate provisionals directly in the patient’s mouth with no heat damage to pulp or tissue. This characteristic eliminates need to remove and replace multiple times during polymerization.
The low shrinkage during polymerization (.45% linear) delivers extremely accurate provisionals with excellent marginal adaptation and remargination not required.
The lack of liquid monomers ensures that there is a neutral taste, no odor or stinging of the gingiva and therefore a patient loving material. The superior esthetics and excellent polish finish makes it a favorite as well. It can be finished with a glazing agent, such as LuxaGlaze, to create a porcelain-like finish.
