About Us
At the heart of our business, we have a high quality that is also ensured by our ISO 9001 certified management system. Our operations are audited by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Ltd.
Naps Group's management, development and design department, warehouse, and direct sales and retail sales organizations are located in Finland. In Estonia, we have our own ISO 14000 environmentally-certified solar module factory, and a sales office serving the Estonian and Baltic markets.
Naps Solar's largest shareholder is the world's first recycling fund, the Taaleri Kiertotalous Ky. Additional shareholders contain four major domestic energy companies Pori Energia Oy, Rauman Energia Oy, Vakka-Suomen Voima Oy and Oulun Seudun sähkö.
In addition to pursuing growth, Naps' core values include accountability. Our solutions contribute to the fight against climate change.
We also guarantee solar modules at least 80% nominal power for 25 years. Together with our customers, we have been able to prove that Naps' solutions have been working well for four decades. A high-quality photovoltaic system stands the test of time maintenance free.
To achieve growth, Naps also invests heavily in its own development work and partnerships. Naps' Chief Technology Officer D.Sc. (Tech.) Mikko A. Juntunen develops a new nanotechnology solar cell that is completely black with Aalto University. It absorbs all light, which improves the efficiency of the cell. Our sales director Markus Andersén is the head of the Finnish Association for the Solar Industry. In addition, we do cooperative development with the energy companies belonging to our shareholders and our main shareholder, Taaleri. Our goal is to introduce more advanced decentralized energy production and storage solutions to our customers.
