The front photovoltaic side of the PVT collection res-PV++ generates electricity – like “normal” PV modules. We have equipped the rear module with a specially developed heat exchanger with highly efficient Acclimation Technology. It consists of fine, densely arranged copper capillary tubes with an optimally designed cross-section. The resulting large replacement area and the capillary effect guarantee extremely fast heat transfer. Heat energy is thus quickly dissipated from the modules. At the same time, the heat-sensitive solar cells are cooled – this increases the electricity yield by approx. 20%, while the heat energy obtained is available for heating and hot water production.

The heat energy obtained by res-PV++ combination modules can be used directly with a heat pump. PVT collectors res-PV++ revolutionize the production of solar energy. They combine the two technologies photovoltaic and solar thermal energy in one module, thus gaining electricity and heat energy for heating and hot water with one area. They can also be used for building cooling.
res-PV++ do not make any compromises in the respective technology, but are, on the contrary, far superior to both conventional PV modules and thermal collectors in their performance: The cooling of the heat-sensitive PV cells increases the performance of the res-PV++ combined module by up to 20% – by means of highly efficient heat transfer from .
Another plus: thanks to their construction, res-PV++ can also absorb heat energy from the ambient air, rainwater and thumbnage precipitation in addition to the sun's radiation energy. Even if moisture freezes to ice on the module surface, the freed-in heat is absorbed, so res-PV++ are not just solar collectors, but real environmental energy collectors!
res-PV++ owes its ingenious technical features to the fact that the heat energy from res-PV++ can be used from the environment (graphic at the top right) is even in collector temperatures of up to approx. 0°C, their thermal energy can be used directly by heat pumps and brought to the desired feel-good temperature.
That's why res-PV++ combined modules comes free heating heat even in rain, in winter or at night from the roof (facade, tracker), i.e. not only in the mild months of sunshine, but always when heating heat is really needed.
The direct use of the heat energy with a heat pump is not possible for most thermal collectors and for many PV combination modules, which is why they are severely restricted compared to res-PV++ with their high potential of heat energy (see comparison below).
